This concept suite explores how Gaia can deepen spiritual engagement through sacred UX, AI-assisted guidance, and intentional community. Each of the three concepts below is scoped for quick MVP delivery and grounded in user needs. I designed these features to support reflection, connection, and long-term growth which is aligned with Gaia's core mission of creating an spiritual network for community members to grow.
1. Gaia Oracle 🧿
Your personal guide for daily practice
Sometimes users open Gaia and don’t know where to start. The content is deep, the intent is there, but the first step feels unclear. Gaia Oracle offers a sacred AI companion to meet them where they are and guide the day ahead.

Users want to feel growth. Not through likes or metrics, but through symbolic transformation. Gaia Path is a visual tracker that evolves as users engage more deeply with the platform.

Concept: Each badge represents a symbolic milestone in a user’s spiritual journey on Gaia. Below are 5 badge mock-ups showing the tiered Gaia Path levels using sacred visual motifs.

Social doesn’t have to mean chaotic. Gaia Circles creates sacred group experiences based on shared spiritual interests, content history, and practice.

Revisit and share sacred moments
Gaia’s content is powerful, but not always easy to share. Wisdom Clips extracts meaningful moments from long-form videos and layers in a personal reflection for shareable, soul-aligned posts.
🛠️ Workflow: How I Designed Gaia’s AI & Community Feature Concepts
This project began as a direct response to the open Gaia role for Product Designer (AI & Community). My goal was to translate Gaia’s mission into product experiences that are emotionally resonant, technically feasible, and scoped for lean, testable MVPs.
🌀 Step-by-Step
1. Role & Mission Alignment
I reviewed Gaia’s brand, product stack, community vision, and the Product Designer job description. I focused on designing features that honor Gaia’s tone while solving real user problems.
2. Ideation & Concept Framing
I developed a list of 8 feature ideas. These were evaluated across product value, AI fit, and MVP feasibility. I prioritized concepts that could be shipped quickly and deliver impact with spiritual integrity. I used Chat GPT and created several prompts to guide me through this process to vet ideas and then consolidate into a product requirement feature with details.
3. MVP Spec Design
Each idea was distilled into a 1-sprint MVP concept with:
Clear user problem
Role of AI (LLM, RAG, clustering, etc.)
Feature summary
Sprint estimate (story points)
Value and success metrics
Safeguards and tone alignment
4. UX/UI Visual Explorations
I mocked up core UI ideas using Chat GPT, feeding it imagery from the current site, some brand imagery guiding it to create the UI images. I then composed the final imagery in Figma (the feature images):

These were created using references from Gaia’s design system and motion language.
5. Brand & Visual Integration
All concepts were refined to match Gaia’s current visual language — color palette, typography, and layout rhythm — while evolving the interaction design to feel more personalized, intentional, and sacred.
